How do Boston hotel day passes work?

We checked 18 dates for each venue through ResortPass’s booking backend, from Saturday Oct 17 to Friday Nov 27, 2026. The sample includes every day of the week and Thanksgiving.

The room math: when booking a night wins
For one day, the pass beat every one-night room rate we found. Two Hyatt Regency passes for Saturday Oct 24 cost $82.78 all-in. The lowest Google Hotels rate at the Hyatt that night was $672 with taxes, checked October 16, 2026.
The family math is similar at the Renaissance Seaport. Two adults and two kids on Saturday Oct 24 cost $106.43 all-in. The cheapest room that night was $431 with taxes.
The room makes sense in two cases. If you want the Omni rooftop on a weekend, a guest room is the only way in, at $455 with taxes for Saturday Oct 24. And at the InterContinental, Google Hotels showed only two-night stays that Saturday.
Rooms were expensive for late October. The Hyatt Regency showed $955 before taxes for Tuesday Oct 27, and the Renaissance sold only two-night stays that night.
For more on how this math works at other hotels, see our resort day pass vs. booking the room guide.
If you only want heat, skip the pools. Exhale’s $40 Spa Pass was the cheapest sauna in this guide, and it sold on all 18 dates we checked. For other cities, see our Chicago hotel pool day pass and NYC hotel day pass guides.
