The vibe is explicitly adult-only and social. A resident DJ, foam parties on select days, and a poolside atmosphere make Breathless the loudest option in this comparison. Midweek visits are noticeably quieter. If you want to read a book by the pool, a midweek date works. If you want the full energy, go on a weekend.

Price: The All-Inclusive Day Pass held at a flat $157.29 per adult on every date we sampled (ResortPass shop-api, hotel id 1671, checked September 16, 2026). We checked Saturday September 19, Tuesday September 22, and Wednesday September 30. ResortPass’s 12% service fee brings the confirmed live-cart total to $176.16 for one adult, with no additional tax. The pass is restricted to guests 18 and older.

What to bring: Your ResortPass confirmation (digital or printed) plus a photo ID is the standard requirement. The ResortPass listing confirms that check-in mirrors the overnight guest process: you present your confirmation at the front desk and receive a wristband or bracelet for the day.

Check-in reality: You enter through the beach club entrance at the back of the property, near La Terminal de Cabo. Bring your confirmation and ID. Staff will process you the same way as overnight guests. The process is reported as smooth by repeat visitors, with no issues on arrival being the common experience. The vibe is quieter and more couples-oriented than Breathless. Spanish-colonial architecture, lush gardens, and a tranquil beach make it the right pick for a relaxed day rather than a pool party. Hours and exact inclusions can shift by season, so confirm the current listing before booking.

Mar del Cabo: boutique pool and optional day room

Mar del Cabo is a boutique hotel in San José del Cabo listed on ResortPass with pool, beach access, and optional day room add-ons (ResortPass listing, verified September 2026). The property style is described as “casual beachy” with a heated outdoor pool, white sand beach on the Sea of Cortez, and the Encanto restaurant.

Price: The Day Pass is $43 per adult on the weekday dates we sampled: Tuesday September 22 and Wednesday September 30, 2026. Medano Beach: the free alternative

Before you pay for a day pass, consider this: Medano Beach is Cabo’s only consistently swimmable beach, and it is free to access. Public entry points near the marina and via Camino Real lead directly to the sand. No pass, no reservation, no minimum spend required.

The tradeoff is comfort and convenience. Medano has vendors and beach bars but no poolside service, no guaranteed lounge chairs, and no resort-grade shade structures or changing facilities.
